Terror y geografía: examinar múltiples espacialidades en un mundo “aterrorizado”

Este artículo ofrece un recorrido historiográfico acerca de los conceptos de terror y terrorismo para después mostrar cómo se han pensado estos conceptos desde la geografía. Me refiero aquí a la geografía en dos sentidos: por un lado a la manera cómo desde la disciplina de la geografía nos hemos relacionado a los discursos de la “guerra al terror”; y por otro, cómo podemos pensar el terror geográficamente y más críticamente para evitar la reducción conceptual e intelectual a la que pueden llevar los discursos dominantes sobre la “guerra contra el terror”. Para esto ofrezco un marco conceptual que he llamado “geografías del terror”, el cual se aplica para el caso del terror que viven las comunidades negras en la región del Pacífico colombiano.
