ALTERNATIVE MODELS FOR ARGENTINA
Keywords:
INTERNATIONAL INSERTION, PRODUCTIVE DEVELOPMENT, ALTERNATIVE MODELSAbstract
Argentina, however, remains one of the economies least integrated to the world economy; in 2015 it was the third most closed economy measured by the ratio of exports to gross domestic product. With the exception of a small number of activities inserted in global trade, mostly connected to natural resources, most of the local productive apparatus is almost exclusively oriented to the domestic market. The country also has a low presence in regional or global markets through the internationalization of its large companies.
