The environmental issue after the return to democracy in Argentina

El texto aborda la evolución de la cuestión ambiental en Argentina durante las últimas cuatro décadas de democracia. Muestra la existencia de dos procesos que marcharon en paralelo buena parte del período. Uno caracterizado por la creación de una nueva institucionalidad ambiental estatal y otro marcado con la expansión del ambientalismo social y el crecimiento de organizaciones profesionales y de base. Por ambas vías, la cuestión ambiental ha ganado presencia en la agenda pública y política en Argentina a lo largo de las décadas de democracia, con un aumento en la movilización social y la creación de instituciones y normativas relacionadas con el ambiente.
